XX WFP: A Party Like No One Has Ever Experienced
It’s been a while since craft beer first poured from taps in the Legia Stadium arena, and some still remember the days when the festival was held at its previous location. Much has changed in that time—some have dimmed the lights and left the stage, others have changed industries—but the Warsaw Beer Festival is alive and well, stronger than ever.
The event returns for its twentieth edition on October 16–18, 2025. Organizers promise that this will be a WFP that surpasses all that has come before.
We’re lucky when it comes to anniversaries. In the spring, we celebrated the tenth anniversary of WFP, and now we’re celebrating its 20th edition. This festival simply has a certain magic to it,” laughs Paweł Leszczyński , the event’s originator and main organizer, representing the Wolny Kraft Association .
WFP classics: sauna, shots, honey and retro games
All the well-known and popular elements of the festival await participants.
- Steaming , or a festival sauna with twigs and aromatherapy.
- Beer tours and workshops – including French brewing and American breweries.
- Sztosy Auction , the proceeds of which support therapy for ACA.
- Four-legged rescuers from the Marki Volunteer Fire Department – dogs that have saved lives more than once.
- Ecological and health campaigns , e.g. “Healthy Water” with free water bottle refills.
- Meads (more than ever!).
- Gastrofaza – festival food truck zone.
- Retro Games Zone – expanded with classics for PCs.
- Craft fair , Free Craft stand and festival gadgets .
On taps – the best Polish and foreign craft breweries , including the increasingly popular 0% non-alcoholic beers , which undergo just as strict a selection as their alcohol-based counterparts.

Seven new products that will define the 20th edition of the Warsaw Beer Festival
1. A watercolor poster that captures the spirit of WFP
Anyone who has ever attended a festival knows how important its visuals are. This time, the unique WFP poster was designed by Grzegorz Wróbel , an architect and watercolorist who spent the entire previous edition observing WFP, talking to people, and recording their emotions. The result is a colorful work that looks as if it was created from a combination of festival laughter and the scent of fresh hops.
There are as many paths to WFP as there are participants, says Michał Lassota , co-organizer responsible for marketing and partnerships.
The poster is already adorning the streets of Warsaw . Has anyone noticed where it can be seen?
2. An increasingly international climate
The Warsaw Beer Festival is becoming an increasingly prominent spot on the European map, rivaling the largest events of its kind on our continent. Year after year, more and more guests come from the Czech Republic, Lithuania, France, Great Britain, and Israel .
It’s incredible that people travel thousands of kilometers to be part of WFP. You can see in their eyes that Polish brewing is now among the world’s leading industries,” says Leszczyński .
Foreign partners co-create the program:
- British Embassy – promotes island beers.
- CAMRA – a British organization that talks about traditional drinks.
- Markus Raupach , German educator and author, will present as many as 60 games about beer .
3. Costume contest with a prize… for life
Saturday’s “Nowhere to Wear it Party” is for the brave. Simply dress up—in a kimono, a ball gown, an old suit, or anything with soul—and collect
The winner receives
A highlight is the performance of Kuba Rużyłła , the screenwriter of the TV series “1670,” as a freestyler. He will be joined on stage by rapper and producer Proceente , also known in the beer world as the creator of the podcast Chmielotok (Friday).
4. Sports, competition and beer championships
If you have a competitive streak, WFP has something for you:
- Deluxe Ski Jump Championship – a competition for fans of ski jumping and the DSJ game (Saturday).
- Harpagan Cup – strength competition.
- Parrón Challenge – a test of nerves and reflexes.
- PSPD competition for the best home-brewed beer (Thursday) + 15th anniversary of the Polish Homebrewers Association (Friday).
5. Before & After Party – WFP starts earlier
The big warm-up before the festival, the Before Party , will take place on October 15 at Beer & Bones Craftt Beer & Mead on Żurawia Street.
For those for whom three days of WFP are not enough – After Party at Kuflach i Kapslach (Thursday) and Taproom Wilanów (Saturday).
6. Concerts, jam sessions and karaoke at the stadium
On Thursday and Friday after 8:00 PM the WFP stage will turn into a dance floor .
Risky & Kraff (creators of Winyl Market) and the Ritmo Bloco percussion orchestra will play.
Later, the stage will be taken over by the WFP Orchestra Live Jam Session , which any musician from the audience can join.
Harper (Boogie Mafia) and the previous edition’s hit – karaoke (Saturday) – will also be featured. You can find the registration form on the festival’s Facebook page.
7. Health, prevention and the festival Ikarus
For years, WFP organizers have been reminding us that having fun goes hand in hand with responsibility. This year, every participant will have the opportunity to:
- perform anonymous tests for HIV, HCV and gonorrhea (results in 15 minutes),
- take part in a first aid workshop for dogs (Saturday).
There will also be a free “Kraftobus” running around Warsaw – a historic Ikarus with lights, music and the Wolny Kraft crew.
It’s impossible to miss. It’s not just a means of transportation, but also the festival’s entrance,” says Paweł Leszczyński .

Live broadcast from the Warsaw Beer Festival
For those who won’t make it to all the attractions – good news: WFP will be broadcast on the stadium screen and online .
The organizers joke that between October 16 and 18 it will be “the most crowded channel in Poland.”

10th Anniversary of Beer, Bacon & Liberty at the 20th Warsaw Beer Festival
The 20th Warsaw Beer Festival will also feature a side event: the tenth anniversary of my craft beer business and the birthday of the blog you’re reading. For a decade, I’ve been promoting good craft beer on the pages of Beer, Bacon & Liberty and on my associated social media accounts, showcasing interesting mushrooms, reporting on my travels, and sharing the flavors of the world. I’m topping it all off with a very introspective, distinctive sauce—which may not be to everyone’s taste. But that’s exactly what craft beer should be, in my opinion.
Here is the schedule of events for the 20th WFP with my participation:
💣 Thursday – 5:45 PM – on the festival stage there will be a ceremonial presentation of the breweries with which I brewed special co-operation beers to celebrate the 10th anniversary of BBL
💣 Thursday – ~6:30 PM – after leaving the stage, I grab my flying camera and make live streams on my Instagram from the stands where our shared beers are flowing
💣 Friday – 9:00 PM – Craft to Art – a unique accompanying event exclusively for members of the Wolny Kraft Association (closed event)
💣 Saturday – 1:00 PM – Exclusive tasting panel narrated by me, where you can enjoy collaborative beers with me and sample a few things from the counter . Tickets for this event are available here: buy a ticket !
💣 Saturday – 5:30 PM – I’m back on the Main Stage, where I’ll talk to the legend of German craft beer – Markus Raupach – author of books and games about beer, as well as a beer judge and sensory expert
In the meantime, I’ll be running, tasting, taking photos, and skating, so there’ll be plenty of time to give me a high five. Join me!
Why is it worth it?
Because WFP is more than just a beer festival.
It’s a gathering of people who believe that craftsmanship has soul, and that a pint is merely an excuse for conversation. It’s a time for good food, music, laughter, and the discovery of new flavors.
For these three days, Warsaw turns into an open, colorful city full of the smell of hops – one that has no need to envy Berlin or Copenhagen .
Because he has his own style.
Warsaw Beer Festival Style.
